March 29 BACK TO BLOGGING!!
Ever since November, i havent really had a thought of blogging and i have been fooling around telling about the site migration. But it is high time i start blogging again before people forget me.
COMING UP!!! 1. LK ADVANI – Smartest politician to choose Internet Media 2. ADRA ADRA NAAKA MUKA. 3. and on and on!!! November 28 COMMUNITY TOOLS @ CTD 2008The Community Tech Days that was organized by the Chennai Dot Net User Group { CNUG } for developers from different background. There were sessions to soothe everyone's technical appetite. The one brilliant session that struck deep in my thoughts is about the Community tools that are available for the developers to seek for solutions to their existing problems. This Session was done in the Forenoon by Mr. Abhishek Kant from Microsoft. I wanted to blog about this Session to make it reach the audience who did not make it to the Developer track of the Community Tech Days. This Session was just a appetizer to the entire day but proved to be something that stagnates in my mind like the waterlogged Chennai. Let me run through each tool one by one now. 1. FORUMS – http://forums.microsoft.com -- Forums help get you fast answers to technical questions about Microsoft products and technologies. Search an archive of answers or ask a new question. 2. As a responsible community person, share what you know about technology to others who respect technology. By Sriram Narasimhan. November 09 A Question with an answer; but what to do no one realizes that the answer exists already. When Laser was invented, it was called as a solution that awaits for a problem to arise. We Indians are gifted with resources. There has been so much industrial expansion that has taken place in the past few decades and we cannot deny that it has arose environmental problems. But the fact that the matter is, we already had a solution for this problem that Indian Government failed to adopt when setting up an industry. I wanted to blog about the solution to this existing problem. The date was 08.11.2008, I was watching a television news channel. I saw a program where a leading paper production company personnel was explaining that they were finding it difficult to get raw materials for producing paper. They were requesting the government to allow them to invest on Industrial plantation. Now the solution is Industrial plantation. Let me get a little deep into this. When an investor is interested in setting up a factory, then they are very much ready to invest on the requirements and demands that are posted by the government plant. This industrial plantation allows the government to provide cultivable land to the industry on a lease and the industries should do multi cropping on these lands to generate the raw materials they require. How ever, for a tree to grow to its full shape, it will take almost five years. We should also remember the fact that, the factory set up also takes some what the same time. So this solution can be adopted for the betterment of the environment rather than blaming each other. This method is adopted in almost all the nations which are sensible to safe guard the environment. This is a conscious remedy for the existing problem of environmental devastation and deforestation. India is rich in Flora and fauna and it is indeed our duty to safe guard it. The industries very well have all the potential to invest on Industrial plantation. But someone should blow the horn into the deaf ears of the government.
Sriram :) October 18 I blog... Therefore I can make others Blog :)
INDIBLOGGER STUDENT INITIATIVE As a blogger I was always looking for an opportunity to inculcate the blogging culture into the Student community. I wanted to change the notion that people had on blogging in a negative way. This was itching my mind for a really long time and Indibloggers gave me the platform to establish myself as a good blogger. It was a collaborative community initiative by us to spread the blogging culture to the college students. Home Ground: KCG College, probably most famous for the climax scene of Sivaji, Dhool etc. was the place chosen by us to kick start this program. I had approached the college long time back about this event after getting consent from IndiBlogger and more than us it was the Students who displayed better enthusiasm levels and second my intention to host this event at the college. The more the students turn up the better will be this event and will turn out to be like a festival in INDIA. Blogging is indeed a festival that can be celebrated and Chennai being the Blogging capital needed something special. So Indiblogger Student initiative will indeed turn out to be a festival in Chennai soon. From scratch to scholar: As a layman, I might not know what a blog is and what a blog can do for me? This was the first question taken up by the team and we spread the word of mouth about What a blog is? The next question that tickles my mind is Why should I Blog? That was answered by the talk given by me for 10 minutes where I spoke about How to gain recognition and make the world know that you exist. I also spoke how to make a lot of people come and read your blog and some Blogging Ethics. This gave the community a complete knowledge on why a person should blog. In order to come to limelight your talents need to be shown to the outside world. The World Wide Web is the best option for the outside world which when realizes that you exist will worship you for your work. Visit to colleges is a sequel and all those who are interested in hosting the same event at your college please get in touch with us. This is something that you are doing as a benefit to the community and probably your initiative might bring you to limelight. Photographs taken during the Bloggers Meet:
Launch of IndiStudent Badge: The IndiStudent Badge was launched during the meet that can be used in your blog and mark yourself as a Student Blogger. We did demonstrate about how to create a blog, How to use Badges in a blog etc. It was an event to remember and once again, I am thankful to Indiblogger for making the Student community realize their dream.
Sriram :) October 14 Everyday is a DIWALI if you are a terrorist
The best brains when not tamed and molded in the right fashion results in the product called terrorist. God only knows what joy these people get out of killing others. If a scientist wanted to come to lime lights he ends up spending tiring nights at his lab to innovate something. But these people want to come to limelight by killing innocent hearts. INDIA, is a land of culture. It had armies in its monasteries when other country people were trying to decipher their civilization. When this is the case, INDIA has become a play ground for the terrorists. The training ground for them are the cities in INDIA and the innocent public are the affected lot. We call ourselves intelligent but do we actually think about the same for the second time? What is the government doing for the public? It does not even have the intelligence team that can smell such disastrous happenings before the mishap happens. There is no swat team that relies on its own brain. It is still a dog that is trusted and not a human. The government in India is just fit for giving condolence meetings and the state government is fit for announcing fake promises and politics = marketing is the latest trend. My father will be getting an additional salary of Rs. 1000 per month if he works in Jammu & Kashmir. But not many are ready to go there because they fear life. This is the state of the country which has so much potential human resources. It is our duty to safe guard this nation. Laws need to be reframed and punishments needs to be brutal and cruel against the terrorists who do the same to innocent public.
Sriram :-) October 05 TECHVISTA – A Research Symposium.
When I was a kid, my parents used to ask me, what is my ambition in life? I used to tell them that I want to become a scientist. But that was a time when I did not realize that seriousness of science. But it was like a dream come true when I saw the researchers from various parts of the world come down to Chennai for the Microsoft Research Symposium TechVista. October 1st 2008, Chennai: The Chennai Convention Centre at Nandambakkam near Airport was all set to witness the event. 1500 was the expected audience who were brought to the hall by charted tour buses. MSR indeed took care of each and everyone who showed interest in attending the program. It was a day that answered thousands of questions in the minds of young people who were hesitant to pursue research as a career. It was a day when the field of Computer Science was celebrated like a festival. Dr. P.Anandan from MSR, started the show by speaking in Tamil and telling the audience that he is a person from Chennai and it was great for him to have TechVista hosted in Chennai. Chennai is indeed privileged to have such great researchers who have given their life for the betterment of life of others to come down and talk to the novice Academic crowd. Dr. Anandan gave a brief introduction to the program and gave us an insight of TechVista that have happened in the past. This is the first time this event is happening in Chennai and it witnessed a huge turn over. It was launched by the Director of IITM. During the inaugural function, Mr. Adithya Sankar demonstrated the power of Photosynth, a Research product that was developed by Live Labs. In this process, the MSR wanted to have a native touch and demonstrated the technology with the Srivilliputur, Sri Andal Temple. The technology was an eye opener for most of the audience and was indeed the right way to kick start the day. Session 1: The Session 1 consisted of lectures by Prof. John Hopcroft, Richard Szeliski and Prof. Shafi Goldwasser. Talk by Prof. John Hopcroft: It was indeed a pleasure to listen to his talk. Datas are present all around us be it in the web, satellite information etc. But how to tame these data was the glimpse given to the audience by his inspirational talk. He did throw light on a lot of youngsters who were craving to pursue research. It was a seed for me to take up my higher studies to sharpen my knowledge. He gave a real time example of how a bird’s location is tracked in the world and its applications in the field of Weather forecasting, hurricane direction prediction etc.
Talk by Dr. Richard Szeliski: Dr. Richard’s presentation was speaking about the field of Computer vision and it was indeed a pleasure to listen to him. He made all our blind folded thoughts reach a clarity by speaking about how the technology of photosynth came to shape and how it works internally. This was indeed a beautiful presentation and it became the darling of all masses as it podcasted some of the un seen content which were soothing to the eyes too. Talk by Prof. Shafi Goldwasser: Security is not just a need today but has become a science by itself. How to improve security by the method of obfuscation was discussed in this mind blowing session which people can understand provided they have domain knowledge of what security and Cryptography actually is. This was a sizzling talk for those who aspire to be an expert in information security. Her talk gave us an insight of what all should not be done when considering security as an issue. Obfuscation means making things complex but resulting in the same output without changing the functionality of the code. Dr. P. Anandan, MSR India Prof. John Hopcroft Dr. Richard Szeliski Prof. Shafi Goldwasser Session 2: The Session was a series of talk given by Richard Rashid, Prof. Shree K Nayar and Vijay Chandru. Talk by Rick Rashid: Rick’s talk was showcasing the various research products from Microsoft Research labs across the world. The masterpiece was World wide telescope that allows us to have the entire view of the galaxy like the view from the telescope. His talk also included a research product Boku – Simplified programming for Kids in which they can create their own games without having much of computer knowledge. This was really attractive too. He also spoke about the live traffic suggestion system that is a brilliant product by itself. Talk by Prof. Shree K Nayar: What you see is different from What you like to see? This was clearly explained to us by the inspirational talk by Prof. Shree Nayar. A lot of us understood the fact that Camera isn’t just a device that captures still photographs but the one that can be taken as a challenge and re engineered to make experience reach better shape. The Wide angle camera that was used for the video conferencing in which 4 people can do the conf with one camera was really attractive. Design of 4π camera that is considered as a challenge was also explained in this speech. This was an eye opener for a lot of the audience.
Talk by Vijay Chandru: Strand’s life sciences is a company that deals with the field of Computational biology. Vijay Chandru Sir delivered a brilliant Session that would have inculcated a feeling in the mind of the listeners that Computers were invented to facilitate the biological problems that we are facing today. Its applications in the field of Medicine, Surgery and cure of Cancer, HIV were all discussed in this talk. Richard Rashid Prof. Shree K Nayar Vijay Chandru TECHVISTA 2008, is a day to remember and is a day that is meaningful in the life of those who are interested in celebrating Computer Science. It was a god’s gift for me to be present there. August 01 Kuselan Rajnikanth Movie Review
" When Intelligence talks Wisdom Listens" I am astonished to actually admit that I have never seen such a huge crowd other than Thirupathi Temple. Kuselan the Rajni starrer that got released without much of a hype is a family entertainer. I promise to give a honest review about the movie after I stepped out of the theatre. I am a Rajni Fan but for a die hard Rajni fan, this film might not be a treat as Rajni comes only in a few sequences. The story is a one liner. A old friend of a Superstar tries to meet him after nearly 25 years. Pasupathy fits in this role very nicely. Rajnikanth introduction is sizzling and probably one of the best. The introduction is after 25 minutes of the movie and I admit here that i was only watching the movie and i could hear no music but only fans screaming around. If you are dreaming about the movie on power with Sivaji, better have a second thought. But this movie is unique by itself. Drags in the middle because of some useless scenes even some scenes where part II of some old Rajni movie are shot like Chandramuki { probably the worst dialogue } which the director must have shot when he was in drugs :P. Rajni gives some really cool punch lines. In one line he says that more accumulation of fat is not good for health and more accumulation of wealth is not good for health again. The climax of the movie is a touching one where the music director has contributed well by not playing any music and spoiling the show. The music of the movie is too much below benchmark and as a fan I regret for Mr. GV Prakash's music and this ironically shows that he should still grow. The movie praises the true form of friendship which does not expect anything in return. This was evident from the climax where Rajni speaks about his childhood friend. It is a subtle subject that is handled with the grace of a Superstar. Songs are visual treat to all the fans. No buzzing sounds and no fight sequence in the movie is a added plus. Vadivelu's comedy is a tickle to us in the middle as it is tailor made to bring out laughter. He does justice to his job. Some scenes were not really needed. The movie was boring in the middle but Pasupathi's performance is something to be noted. He has underplayed his role and fits as a pessimist. The moral of he story is that efforts have to be taken by a pessimist to become a optimist. I like the movie very much because Rajni is there in it. I am willing to be patient till the movie ends should be the thought. I request Mr. P.Vasu to have second thoughts when he signs a movie with a superstar. He should remember his image and should not misguide his fans. Rajni --- 100% pleasing performance in the movie. The movie really depicts a lot of the trouble in making a cinema. Worth watching if you are a Rajni and basically a cinema fan.
Sriram :) July 31 It Happens only in INDIA!!!
I remember those days. I was just 5 years old. I made a mistake in the class by blowing air through an empty pen and my teacher gave a strong pat on my shoulder. When I look back at that incident, I feel proud that I had people around me who cared for me. My mother and father had trust on me but it was always like a Rally Race where I need to get past check points and that is how they can have a grip about my behavior and character grooming. The prices reach peaks and the poor reach pits. India has become a country where the rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer as Rajnikanth said in Sivaji. What am I trying to discuss in this blog might not be clear till this statement. Our country politics is like a drama stage these days where the actors who cannot be nominated for the Oscars perform on the stage but in turn play with people's life in the play. The citizens of India have casted their vote in order to ensure that they are being represented since not everyone can participate in this democracy and decision making. The fact is that not every representative whom we choose realize that they are meant to serve the public and not nod the head always. The public cannot punish them for not doing their duty. We are not having any weapons or authority. After all we can just deny the representative the next chance but I feel that this is of no use. The politicians just walk out of the LA for commenting about the opposition but is this fair on their part to for not recognizing their responsibility for representing the public. Opposition can be shown in 'n' number of ways but walking out is not the solution. You are paid to do your job. Your job is to represent the public. Better do that than walking out like a herd of sheep. One good story incase any politician reads this blog... INDIA IS AWAKE
Sriram :) July 02 ISNT THERE ONE ECONOMIST IN THIS COUNTRY???
Oil is becoming costlier than gold !!!!!! Some economist must save our problem. This country has people like Amritiya Sen who are Nobel Prize winners. But Indian Politics believes in people who have not undergone any Education. God only should save this country. Dasavathaaram - A different pen sketch
I was pretty hesitant to write this blog. But I have a strong feeling that this is going to be one of my best. Apart for the technology aspect of the movie there are plenty much more to discuss. None of us have tried to correlate the realities of science and Hindu Mythology. I guess Mr. Kamal hassan has tried that. I wanted to bring certain facts to lime light. The movie starts by talking about satellites, the places once imagined as the places where God lived. This is evident from the story of Trisanku. Now i am explaining how it is in Mythology. Once there was a saint by name VISHWAMITRA and he gave a boon to Trisanku telling that he can go to Heaven. But Indra who is the king of Heaven did not allow Trisanku to enter Heaven. Therefore his soul was roaming inbetween Heaven and earth. So Vishwamitra created a Trisanku Swarga which revolves around the earth. This is mythology. But one has to keenly note that this concept is nothing else but a satellite. The Best thing i like in Dasavathaaram was the dialogue told by the characted VINCENT " NAALU KODI VINDHUKALIL IRUNTHU VARUM ELLARUM ULAGA NAYAGAN THAAN " --- Kamal tells this as a easy Dialogue. But the irony is this is life. I read the same dialogue as a poem a few years back. The Game for the Survival of the fittest started even before you were born is the moral. He makes us aware about in the Sand Mafia scene. Another character that tells us the importance of mother language is funny but really good. Graphics and Special effects are also in par with the Hollywood movies. The chaos theory is nothing else but " World progression is nothing else but a series of events. How they are interconnected. ". Such a global idea has made Tamil Cinema reach heights. Very good attempt. Scientifically true and really terrific efforts by Mr. Kamal Hassan. The Movie is a tribute to Tamil Cinema and is undoubtedly the beginning of next era of quality movies. June 12 KAMAL HAASAN - THE LIVING LEGEND
June 11 CONSUMERS - ARE U AWARE OF UR RIGHTS??Hailing from a middle class family, i have also been summat affected by the fuel price hike(wat else? My parents hv cut down my pocket money ;( ) The worst reality is tat the cooking gas price has been hiked by FIFTY RUPEES (tats quite a huge amount considering the hard work tat our parents indulge themselves in) This has created a huge impact in all stratas of our society. OK we must agree that this was unavoidable.BUT there is a hidden aspect which adds to our irritation and causes a considerable hole in our pockets. But we hesitate or rather neglect it.Can u make a wild guess?? Its the service charge tat the lpg gas provider DEMANDS FOR.I AM NOT WRONG.Wat they ask 4 is not a request but a menacing DEMAND. Most of us here are forced to give watever extra amount they ask for.IF we refuse, we have to encounter some abusive language. We cant even protest as we r in need of their services always.BUT as CONSUMERS WE HAVE GOT EVERY RIGHT to voice out our opinion against this injustice.ITS IN OUR HANDS TO COME OUT OF OUR SHELL to reveal the truth.WE SHOULD LEARN TO EXERCISE OUR RIGHTS AS WE NEVER COMPROMISE ON OUR DUTIES.So friends please dont hesitate or shy away from ur rights as a GOOD CONSUMER OF OUR NATION.WILL THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES TAKE NOTICE OF THIS?.Only time should answer our query. SWATHI June 10 Go ahead with your decision.HI pals.I feel great to be back to blogging..I have gotta congratulate those who r waiting to get into the col and course of their choice.WAIT A MIN. did i say "their choice"?? Hmmm tats a question which makes me ponder. How many of us here r studying the course which is really close to our heart? A magnanimous quantity of us would reply in the negative(tat includes me OF COURSE ;( ) And to our friends out there - how many of u would be(rather should it be "hw many would be permitted to choose??") choosing YOUR CAREER.. BUT the reality strikes us here.. MOST OF US here are forced or rather convinced to opt for the CORE BRANCHES OF STUDY(should i name them?.I hope most of us are fed up of hearin it again & AGAIN) Why should a student be forced to take up THE CORE branch just bcoz he/she has scored more than 95% (when his/her interest may lie in something else..)?? After all its the student who is gonna do all the work and the elders just escape after giving them dis so called guidance..IS THE SOCIETY TO BE BLAMED OR OUR IGNORANT PARENTS??.. Every area has its own scope and if a person chooses a career of his choice he gives 100% to it(no doubt about that).. but the general mind set of our parents (which is nourished by our over enthusiastic neighbours relatives and some X and Ys) is that Only THE PROFESSIONAL COURSES hv scope and gives u ready made jobs.. GOD SAVE US..dear parents please update yourself abt recent trends and shut yourself away from your kith and kin atleast two months b4 counselling..believe in wat ur son or daughter says.. If your son wants to study photography, let him... WHO knows - he may become the worlds most famous photographer one day.. But if u r keen on forcing them to study the course of ur choice they may end up as "one in a 1000".. So PARENTS its in your hands whether u want ur child to be unique or otherwise... STUDENTS dont let anyone tresspass your choice. STICK TO IT AND ACHIEVE.. THERE R OPPORTUNITIES GALORE IN THIS WORLD, WAITING TO EMBRACE YOU.. GOOD LUCK.. SWATHI May 30 Save a life! - Cancel the SSLC Exam.India has been contributing a lot in population. By God's grace a lot of Indians are sensible enough to educate their wards. But what we see is stupid reflexes and hurried decisions that swallow the lives of the young minds. The education system is not tuned properly and the society frame of mind is biased in such a way that marks make life beautiful. This is crap. The young buds are not matured enough to take some sensible decisions in life. They feel that getting low marks and failing is the end of life as interpreted by this society and then commit suicide. 1. We must highly understand that marks are just entry level criteria. 2. The Education system can definitely have a change. The Higher Secondary exams are taken as inputs to college. Then the education system can definitely drop this tenth standard exams. 3. A lot of people might tell that exceptions should not be considered. But i feel that Life is what i am arguing about. A small child need not commit suicide for flunking in his 10th Standard. 4. Better reconsider what has happened in the past and what is happening and await a change. When more hands tap together there will be more noise. This theme should be expressed by many to bring it to reality.
Sriram :) Its time to wake up!Here i was.... lazing away my hols at home.... and suddenly dis thot struck me..... hw much energy do i utilise daily or to be more truthful hw much energy do i waste daily??... thinking abt dis i got outta my room.... oh god!.. i hadnt switched off the fan and light in my room.... damn my memory...i ran to switch it off.... Then i lazily went off to brush my teeth with these thots of energy waste haunting me... i opened the tap and started brushing.... the tap remained open(surprised) til i finished my task... hey wat a collosal waste of water.....(y do things keep dawning on me lately???)... still musing over my stupidity i went to hv a bath... yet again without realising my folly i wasted "TWO" buckets of water.... i felt like hitting myself and resolved not to waste water from tat day onwards... then i started my journey towards coll in my bike.... Y was i wasting so much fuel when i could hv travelled with my friend in her bike??.... just for the heck of it?? NO WAY..... from tmw i decided to travel wid ma friend on a fuel sharin basis......... i patted myself 4 this brilliant idea (wink).... the next thing which came to my mind was the power waste at college... most of us left the fans and lights on after the classes got over ... and the taps wer open most of the time in the rest rooms.... wat right hv we got to waste tat power?? so plz the nxt time u come outta ur class, switch off the fans and lights..... and don forget to close the taps.... will u... these r just small things tat i learnt by way of my mistakes...... u might be aware tat there r still some parts of india where electricity and proper water supply r still a day dream..... SO folks.. give some thought to this.... even a small amount of energy saved by an individual goes a long way in realising the day dreams of our brothers..... I HOPE TAT THIS POST WOULD CHANGE ATLEAST A FEW HEARTS..... May 29 Realization of Truth --- It is bitter but it is needed now!It has been a long time since I did Blogging. I am pretending in my life as if I am busy person. But the fact it the busy person is the one who finds time to do everything in life. When I realized that I had to chase my passion in life i.e. to learn technology, all I could fine was so much competition in this world. There were frontiers reaching horizon but all i could do was stand in the middle and watch it growing. Being a busy person, I did realize that I had to find time to pursue my dreams. So I realized that I need to expand my frontiers too. So I sit on the chair and start thinking what I should do so as to sustain my progress. Then I realize that as a part of my progress I have reached a new destination where I find things that interest me more than what I am enjoying in present. So I get to reach them. This process is cyclic and when you are not a person who is content then every other thing around you interests you. Paths might be 'n' in number but destiny should be one. A Success that is achieved by hard work sustains more than the one that is attained by luck. So better know what you need now and pacify your needs then think about your future. Sriram :) April 07 STEPS TO SUCCESS - By Mr. Srinivas Sivakumar, Microsoft @ Boot Camp 2008.
The Boot camp has so many good memories that i can remember. But when i think of blogging the same, I did not want to make anyone feel bored by pouring out my experiences. Instead I thought of sharing my experience in one of the session that took place @ Boot Camp. Mr. Srinivas, started off with an energetic talk with his short and sweet analysis on ways to succeed in life. In short, I need to say that he had a philosopher's touch during his speech. You will understand the same when I enumerate the points that he specified. Steps to Success are: 1. Passion -- Love what ever you are doing. Develop interest in what ever you are doing and don't do anything for the sake of doing. Passion drives a person to success. 2. Continuous Learning and Commitment. 3. Hard Work-- The Example that he quoted here was Beethovan. Beethovan started composing some of the world's best music after he became deaf. Beethovan has done so much of hard work that he was able to feel that music that he composed without even able to hear it in reality. 4. Dare to Dream -- " NO Day dreaming pls " 5. Life after work and Stress Management is very much essential for everyone. 6. Be meaningful to world and Don't forget to Have fun. - He quoted Mother Theresa as the example. Make your life meaningful by doing something that is helpful to world and humanity. These are guidelines that anyone can adopt to be successful in life. April 04 IT ALL STARTED ON APRIL 4th....
" Your Potential... Our Passion... MICROSOFT " Anyone who is using a computer knows his name. He was trying to study pre-law at Harvard University, but still he was very much biased to Computers. He is none other than Bill Gates. It was at Harvard University, he met Paul Allen. They did all possible work with those day's neolothic computers together. They intended to buy the most famous OS of that time from Seattle Computer Products but later ended up creating MS-DOS. It was 33 years ago, the company by name MICROSOFT was started by Mr. Bill Gates and Mr. Paul Allen. They entered into a Partnership deed on April 4th 1975 when Allen was 22 and Billg was 19. Now the company has grown up as the most successful corporation in the world offering platforms for all the users across the world. The company has grown big and placed their name amongst the richest people in the world.
IMAGES THAT REMIND ME ABOUT MICROSOFT MICROSOFT TEAM in 1978
Paul Allen and Bill Gates April 02 IS HOCKEY STILL OUR NATIONAL GAME! PLEASE DON'T BE KIDDING ME.
I remember my school days when I told my teacher that Hockey is INDIA's National Game. It is all on books like the laws that are on our constitution. They are for the sake of filling papers and never exist in reality. I feel really happy when i know that a lot of brains have worked really hard to convert Cricket to Business form by paying huge amounts to buy players, putting the spirit of the game on stake though. All the cricket players are good actors too. I don't blame cricket but I want to know why is Hockey still called our National Game when we are actually pushing it to extinction. The future generations will be looking at Hockey kits in the Museum but not in reality if this is going to be the case. This scenario must be viewed seriously by the government and the so called socially responsible people, media and provide a proper solution. Either glorify Hockey or else change its role as the national game. There is a Game like cricket which is breathed by most of the Indians making them remember what patriotism is all about? "HISTORY NEVER REPEATED ITSELF IN THE CASE OF HOCKEY"
GONE ARE THOSE DAYS!! THIS IS WHAT WE LOVE!!! |
